| We wish to introduce ourselves as Starians Batch 1986-1990, batch of Ilon @ Fakhrul, our current committtee member of STAROBA. Finally, it is our turn to organise the OBW 2010!
Congratulations to Batch 1989 on your successful OBW 2009, a remarkable event it was well remembered by many. Started by Batch 1977 who organised the OBW 1997, the tradition continues whereby every batch has been entrusted to organize an OBW, twenty years after them leaving the alma mater. Since 1997 (except in 1998 and 1999), such tradition has been a wonderful opportunity for every batch to give something back to the school, with the later batches always trying to outdo their seniors in theme, havoc and success.
OBW 2010 therefore has been the main force that forges the BROTHERHOOD in our batch 1986-1990, ever since we first knew and started planning for it soon after OBW 2000. We pray that this OBW 2010 may continue to contribute in enhancing the image of our beloved alma mater, as well as in strengthening our STARIAN SPIRIT and PRIDE. We hope to stage a memorable OBW 2010, a trophy worthy to be remembered with pride for years to come. Suggestions from all are most welcome in making the OBW 2010 an event worthy of its name. Ready as we are, we hereby accept the task and deliver we shall. See you all at OBW 2010! |

| Meeting II for the OBW 2010 was held on Saturday, 20th Feb 2010 at office Ilon in Pusat Dagangan UMNO, Shah Alam, Selangor. Alhamdulillah, 21 attended the meeting to verify the decisions made. Meeting started at 4.30pm and ended at 8.20pm. Thank you all for your attendance. For those that has called and sms not attending with apology, your support are truly appreciated. Thank you Ilon for using your office, nice office you have. Food and drinks was sponsored by Kadiaq, thank you bro!

| OBW2010 offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities for both small and large organizations. Sponsors of OBW2010 will gain visibility for their companies, demonstrate their support of STAR, Ipoh, the alma mater (Best in SPM result in Perak 2009), and of STAROBA for the noble cause it represents.

| Which House will have the most attendance?
We have initiated an Inter-House War to see which house will have the most attendance for the OBW 2010. Register online now and campaign to your fellow housemates to do the same. Your registration shall affect your House position in the Registration Status immediately. The winning House will be announced during our Grand Annual Dinner at the OBW and shall win a chance to brag for the next year. MAY THE MOST POWERFUL HOUSE TRIUMPH !!!
How to register?
Registration is easy, just fill up the online Registration Form provided; or you may also register the old-fashioned way - at the Registration Counter during the OBW. First 100 to register (with payment, of course) shall receive an OBW2010 backpack FREE!.
How much is the Registration Fee?
Registration Fee is RM50.00 for all old boys, with a special rate of RM20.00 for those younger old boys now studying in universities, colleges, etc. There is no fee charged for family members and/or guests. Just for our preparation purposes, kindly inform us of the number of your family members and/or guests as required in the Registration Form.
How to make Payment?
Kindly arrange your payment to our following bank account:-

Please forward your payment details (transaction reference, date, time) to our Secretariat via sms at 019-2741173 or 019-3870721 or email to obw2010@starians8690.com for our acknowledgement and receipts issuance purposes. Kindly retain your bank-in slip for future reference. Our acknowledgement of receipts shall be forwarded to you via email or sms accordingly.
All old-fashioned registration during the OBW 2010 shall be on cash basis, and receipts will be produced to you there and then, immediately.

| On 17/03/2010, the batch 8690 had a meeting with STAROBA to present our intention to organise the OBW 2010. The meeting was at PJ Hilton and started at 4.30pm after everybody done solat Zohor. STAROBA was duly represented by Azlan Abdullah and Dato Tamunif, while the batch 8690 was represented by our Sahidi (Chairman OBW2010), Fakhrul @ Ilon (our batch President), Kadiaq (Treasurer), Matiau (Mursyidul Am) and me, Azli Salleh @ Cabang (Secretary). We wish to thank STAROBA for their kind listening and advice in our preparation on the OBW. The meeting ended at 6.00pm with the drinks on Azlan Abdullah. Thank you, Abang Lan. The work continues. |
